The beach has the softest, finest golden sand from the Dolomites and a sea that has for years been awarded the famous “Bandiera Blu” (Blue Flag). Jesolo’s geographical position makes it a handy starting point for visits to the most important historic and artistic cities in inland Veneto: Venice, Verona, Vicenza, Padua and many others. This is a town that is busy all year round, thanks to a packed calendar of cultural, sports and food and wine events.

Sports lovers will find all kinds of facilities and infrastructures on offer: five docks for those who love sailing, sailing schools, windsurfing, canoeing, diving courses, tennis schools and areas for basketball, volleyball and football, a golf course, a water theme park (Aqualandia) which reproduces a Caribbean island on the Adriatic, a karting track that hosts world championships and an infinite number of bicycles for hire for those who want to discover the inland area along the numerous cycle paths.

There is a seafront pine forest, just a short distance from the centre, for a relaxing, enjoyable holiday surrounded by greenery and everywhere there are wellness and beauty centres and heated swimming pools. It is an oasis of peace that offers a real break from the stresses of daily life.

There are also almost two thousand shops and night spots open until the early hours, discos where you can dance and listen to all kinds of music, trendy clubs, pubs offering a thousand different types of beer and other drinks, amusement arcades and fun parks for old and young….together with pizzerias, restaurants, cafés and trattorie where typical specialities of the Veneto region will delight the palate.
